Notes: Negri has been tied up by her owner in Puerto Rico since she was a very young puppy. She became pregnant when she was only seven months old. After her owner discovered she was pregnant, she was no longer wanted and thrown into the streets to fend for herself. One of our volunteers rescued her just in time for her to have her three puppies in a save place. Her puppies are now 3 months old and Negri is ready for a home of her own. Negri is a very sweet little 12 lbs. girl, desperate for love and attention.

Notes: Nube was rescued with his mother, father and sister from a very abusive situation in Puerto Rico. Mom and dad had multiple injuries and broken bones and Nube was tied up on a very short robe since he was a very young puppy but had no injuries. He is now a very happy, healthy, playful and sweet 5 months old puppy, ready to enjoy the rest of his life.

Notes: Tommy was found at a local beach in Puerto Rico where he had been abandoned by his owner and faced certain death due to his young age and size. Tommy is a long hair Dachshund mix who is now playful, sweet and very loving. He is looking for a home of his own where he can be loved and cared for the rest of his life.

Notes: Pepe was purchased from a breeder in Puerto Rico but when the family moved, they decided they no longer wanted to take care of him and surrendered Pepe to our organization. Pepe is a very friendly, easy going, active, playful and loving little dog.

Notes: Hector and his siblings were abandoned in a box in front of a store in Puerto Rico. Our volunteer was called and she picked them up as fast as she could. Hector is a gentle, peaceful, playful and very sweet little 3 months old, 5 lbs. puppy. All he needs now is a home of his own where he can be loved and cared for the rest of his life.

Notes: Tostoy was found tied up at a local feed store in Puerto Rico. His head was bleeding and he was in desperate need to be rescued. He was nursed back to health in one of our foster homes in Puerto Rico and he is now ready for a new home. He also tested positive for heartworm and has been treated and made a full recovery.Tostoy is a wonderful dog, calm, very good on a leash, gets along with all animals and people and he is very loyal. All he needs now is a home of his own where he can be loved and cared for the rest of his life. He is three years old and weighs 58 lbs. Tostoy is still in Puerto Rico due to lack of space but can be brought here in a moments notice. Is there room in your home for this deserving boy?

Notes: Caralinda (pretty face) was thrown into the streets of Puerto Rico by her owner and left to fend for herself. She was fed for several weeks by one of our volunteers and one day she just followed her home. This girl is exceptionally sweet, mellow, loving and loyal. Caralinda is now looking for a home of her own. Caralinda tested positive for heartworm and was treated.

Notes: Peggy was spotted in the parking lot behind a post office in Puerto Rico where she had been abandoned and left to fend for herself. She ended up in tangeled in wire and branches and faced certain death.Peggy was in desperate need to be rescued. She is now a playful, loving and sweet little girl in search of a home of her own.

Name: Kahlua Age: 3 Years Breed: Chocolate Labra Sex: Female Available: Now

Notes: Kahlua has had a very hard life up until now. She was thrown into the streets of Puerto Rico when she became pregnant and owner no longer wanted to care for her. Due to her size, there was no room in our foster home there so all we could do was feed her while she was still living on the street. We did take her puppies and all of them have found homes. Now it is Kahlua's turn.Through all of her ordeal, she stayed as sweet as can be. Most of the time she acts like a big baby who just wants to be loved and cared for. Kahlua loves other dogs, children and people. She has no experience with cats.

To adopt any of our dogs please fill out an adoption form and indicate which dog(s) you are interested in. Please be advised that filling out an adoption form is not a contract or agreement of you adopting that pet. It's purpose is to obtain information and find a suitable home that BEST matches that particular animal. Adoption fees range from $150 to $650 depending on care provided to the pet, i.e.; spaying/neutering vaccinations. Please know that the adoption fee only covers part of the cost we spend for these animals. Most of these dogs do travel from Puerto Rico to their new homes.
