How you can help
There are always ways to help us out
Most of our dogs come from Puerto Rico. Our Satos need medical attention from the minute they are picked up from the streets. They are given a physical exam, dewormed, and given care for at least several weeks in order to ensure they are healthy. If they are not healthy, they are given medications or get surgery to treat any and all ailments or injuries. This can include mange, dehydration, poor nutritional status, infections, heartworm, and a wide variety of injuries. Their care can last several months before they can come to the U.S. All of our Satos are vaccinated, and spayed/neutered. We want the healthiest pets possible before adoption is considered.
Your donations make all of this work possible. Thank you to every one that has donated to Animals In Need and helped us save these great and deserving animals.
